THE FACE X TYGERIAN LACE
On Saturday evening, I had the pleasure of attending a networking event hosted by THE FACE MAGAZINE here in Charlotte. Entitled “Sip in Style”, the goal of the event was to bring together influential Faces to enjoy a wonderful evening of cocktails, food prepared by a personal chef, and view a capsule collection by fashion designer Tygerian Burke of Tygerian Lace.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by lovely representatives of the magazine and immediately offered a glass of Prosecco. I came to the event post work so that was definitely a plus for me. The event was held inside a posh model home of new home builder, Pulte Homes (Castleford), within our Matthews community courtesy of Joy Farley-Charlotte Market New Home Sales Counselor.
I know in my search of finding a home builder, Pulte was at the top of my list. My husband and I ultimately decided against Pulte, but I still admire their homes and quality product. Their homes are absolutely stunning! If you are in a market where a Pulte property is, I strongly suggest seeking them out!
Chef Christopher Williams demonstrated how to precisely cut a bell pepper…oh and he also showed us all how to make an amazing stir fry in little to no time. It was that night I discovered that I have been cutting my bell pepper the wrong way…lol I wasn’t able to enjoy any of his food because I recently got braces and I can’t chew a damn thing, but the consensus was that the food was delicious. His company provides a host of services and meal plan options in the Charlotte area. Check him out here!
I got to see a new familiar face! This girl is such a sweetheart. Make sure you guys check her out; she has a conference in Charlotte coming up this summer for women in the blogging/influencer community entitled “Ignite Your Influence”. I’ll be attending and so should you!
Can we just talk about how amazing the Editor’s look is?! She looks absolutely amazing. It was so nice to meet her. She just re-launced the magazine and I am so excited to see more from her. She’s a fellow graduate of the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!).
I was extended the invitation to this event by Tygerian. Though we had never met before, we greeted each other like we had. She has a warm spirit and I can really tell that she is passionate about her brand and is confident of the woman she designs for. Her brand aesthetic is inspired by African embroidered lace and embellished voile made for QUEENS.
You can truly see her aesthetic radiate through the capsule she showcased at the event. My favorite item is the black and white maxi dress.
The cutest favors for attending. We all received a copy of Issue 8, a logo tee, and a coffee mug that is simply minimalist perfection. Definitely a great evening. Thank you again to Tygerian and to THE FACE MAGAZINE for having me! Looking forward to the next event!
