Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: My Top Picks
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost here! If you have a Nordstrom Card, you probably have already scoped out your top items and made your purchases, BUT if you don’t have a Nordstrom card this post is for you!
Let me start by saying this first. YOU DON’T NEED ANYTHING! As a former manager there, I’m telling you that you do not need to stress about getting anything on this sale…if you have patience lol.
A little back story on the sale. It is during this time in July that the sale will run every year. EVERY YEAR. They have “brand new” items that will “only be on sale” during this time and when the sale is over, the items go back to their normal retail selling prices.
What you don’t know is that what ever is left after the items return to regular price, those items will eventually go back “on sale” after a few weeks. Typically around Labor Day or thereafter. The only thing is, your coveted item may be sold out by then. SMH. So, if you see something you want, it is best to go ahead and get it. Because nothing haunts us like the things we didn’t buy. (insert stressed face emoji) And mainly this refers to clothing and shoes. All beauty items are “value” deals.
So, with that being said, if you can hold out; hold out. But if you are ready to shop, these are my top picks for this years sale without breaking the bank! Dr. Dennis Gross “Head to Toe Glow” Skincare Daily Facial Peel Set
$178 Anniversary Sale Price - $266 value
I’ve been wanting to try this peel for years, but could never bring myself to make the purchase. This set is great because it includes a jumbo box of the daily facial exfoliating wipes and a full size box of the exfoliating body treatment.
Tom Ford Soleil Travel Atomizer Set
$164 Anniversary Sale Price - $205 value
If you follow me over in IG, you know that I'm a scent lover. Tom Ford in particular has a special place in my scent wardrobe. There are a lot of fragrance deals on the sale but for me this one is a must have. Why? It’s the Atomizer for me! The atomizer is the PERFECT travel companion and nine times out of ten, we all are traveling to a place where our skin is being kissed by the sun. These fragrances are great travel companions. Soleil Blanc for laying out, Soleil Neige for when you’re out and about during the day, and Soleil Brulant (ONE SPRAY & STEP INTO IT) for a night out. Perfection. TSA approved sizes. I would also give honorable mention to the Soleil Blanc Body Oil Set (Also TSA approved sizes). I just have them already so I did not need to repurchase.
Nécessaire Body Wash & Body Lotion Set
$35 Anniversary Sale Price - $50 value
I was influenced by Andrea Renee so I’m excited to try it. I love the smell of Eucalyptus so I’m sure I’ll love the body wash. The lotion is fragrance-free so you can use any type of perfume oil or layer with your perfume of choice. This set is actually sold out, but I will link it just in case it comes back. I’ll also link the items as they are sold normally.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Set
$160 Anniversary Sale Price - $240 value
I love Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 Mascara, and one of my best friends uses the Magic Cream. Always wanted to try it but never made the purchase. So I decided to get this set because of the FULL SIZE products it comes with. You get the Magic Cream Moisturizer, the Magic Eye Rescue Eye Cream, and the Magic Serum Crystal Elixir.
NEST New York Grapefruit & Sicilian Tangerine Candle Set
$59 Anniversary Sale Price - $88 value
Spring & Summer in a candle. They both smell juicy and full. Fool proof, just get it. They also have reed diffusers and votives. These candles are vegan, and the burn time is about 50 to 60 hours per 8.1oz candle.
Urban Decay Makeup Setting Spray Set
$42 Anniversary Sale Price - $81 value
This is my go to setting spray. I’ve got jumbo bottle that I’m almost out of and this set has two full size bottles and a travel size bottle! This set is currently sold out but I will link to its regular price bottle.
