It's Been A While

For those who have known me or have been following me for a while, know that I started MirrorCheck, my style blog, back in 2010. It seems ancient now because blogging was just finding it's way to relevancy back then. Now, as you can see its 2018 everyone has some sort of way they influence or blog, but MirrorCheck kind of had a pause point back in 2013. I slowed up on posting on my blog and took to Instagram if I wanted to "post" something. So much has happened in my life since my abrupt hold on blogging. I grew older; I'm 32 now. I had been living in Alabama; I moved to North Carolina. I quit my job, married my amazing husband, got another job, bought a house, and had my handsome son. During that whole time, one thing that changed and I wasn't able to really keep up with was my personal style...We've all had those "I hate my closet!!" moments, but I didn't like anything I owned anymore so I had to figure out what exactly it was that made me feel the best. I think I've found it, and I'm ready to find my own lane and following again. My first few posts will recap the last 5 years of my life so you can get to know me better. 

My blogging style... 

I'll post pics, share products, have a little something short and sweet to say, and that's about it. I won't always have a lot to say, and I think that's perfectly fine. I'm not a professional writer, so forgive me in advance. I'll read and re-read my sentences and check for spelling before I post. If you want to see more or less of something, let me know. I plan to share my style, lifestyle, and family.
